Porkette Slices Baked with Sweet Potato



6 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup water

Salt and pepper

6 (1/2 inch thick) Freirich Porkette Slices


Peel and slice 6 medium-sized potatoes, and place in greased baking dish. Pour 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup and 1/2 cup water over slices. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Arrange 6 (1/2 inch thick) Porkette Slices (uncooked) on top of sweet potatoes. Bake in a moderately hot oven (375°) for 30 minutes or until sweet potatoes are tender and Porkette slices are browned. Makes 6 servings.
