Porkette Slices Baked with Macaroni and Mushrooms



Macaroni, cooked and seasoned

Mushrooms, sautéed

Freirich Porkette slices

Canned tomato soup

Buttered bread crumbs



A popular main dish for dinner or supper. Place a layer of cooked and seasoned macaroni in a greased casserole and add a layer of sautéed mushrooms and thin slices of cooked Porkettes. Repeat the process a second time. Pour in enough canned tomato soup to moisten slightly. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake in a moderately hot oven (375°) for 20 minutes, or until crumbs are brown.
