New England Boiled Dinner



3-3 1/2 lbs. Freirich Corned Beef Brisket 

2 medium sliced onions 

2 minced cloves garlic 

3 medium carrots, cut in 1/2” chunks 

3 medium potatoes, pared and quartered 

1 cup water 

1 tbsp. English mustard 

1/3 cup brown sugar 

3 bay leaves 

1-1/2 lbs. head cabbage, cut into large wedges 


Place all vegetables and bay leaves in Crock Pot. Add brisket and water. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 10 hours. The last hour remove bay leaves and spread mustard and brown sugar over meat. Garnish with parsley. Serves 5-6.
