Barbecued Tongue



1 Freirich Cooked Tongue (2-1/2 lbs.)

1/2 cup of ketchup

2 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons of vinegar

1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons of Kitchen Bouquet sauce


Mix all ingredients except tongue together in bowl. Brush tongue with sauce. Place whole tongue on spit of an electric rotisserie or on outdoor grill and cook on high heat. Brush tongue with sauce every 5 minutes. Cook approximately 45 minutes. If using outdoor grill be sure to turn tongue each time you brush on sauce. Serves 8.
